Craig R. Aird focuses his practice on the areas of estate planning, tax and immigration.

Mr. Aird was admitted to the Washington Bar in 1995 and the California Bar in 2018. He was previously admitted to practice as a foreign legal consultant in Germany between 2010 and 2016 and is also admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court.

Mr. Aird graduated cum laude from Seattle University Law School and subsequently earned a Masters in Taxation from the University of Washington School of Law. After earning his Masters in Taxation, Mr. Aird worked in the international tax group at a Big Four accounting firm in Seattle which provided valuable exposure to a variety of cross-border tax and business issues. Mr. Aird later spent two years working for an international accounting firm in Frankfurt, Germany before returning to Seattle.

Mr. Aird’s international experience is complemented by some ten years of legal practice in the related fields of estate planning and business law, including succession planning for individuals and family-owned business. In addition to traditional estate planning vehicles such as wills and trusts, his practical experience includes aiding clients in establishing and operating private foundations, charitable trusts and supporting organizations. Following his return to the United States and admission to the California Bar, Mr. Aird has added immigration law to his fields of practice. He is admitted to the Washington State Bar Association, and and able to practice law in Washington State.
